For the first time ever, G3 and Mike Edwards welcome an outside guest to the show, Sultan Meghji. Until recently, Sultan was the Chief Innovation Officer of the FDIC and an advisor to the Biden Administration on technology policy.

Sultan is currently a professor at Duke University and an advisor to Reciprocal Ventures, America’s Frontier Fund, and several other companies. Sultan also serves as a non-resident scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Distinguished Member of the Bretton Woods Committee, and Visiting Fellow at the National Security Institute.

In the past, Sultan was an advisor to the US Government on numerous issues including AI, cybersecurity, and quantum computing. He’s also been a serial entrepreneur who has founded companies that span Fintech, Life Sciences, and Information Technology.

A final note: given the considerable scope of Sultan’s experience, this week’s episode is significantly longer than normal. We think it was worth it to break the convention and hope you do as well.
