Today we have two members of the Weiss team, Jordi Visser and Laura Drobbin, to talk about Weiss’s recent NFT drop. That’s right. Weiss dropped an NFT, which is a portrait of the Firm’s founder, George Weiss, set against a pixelated cityscape, with important touchstones of his life incorporated into the work. To our knowledge, this drop represents a first for a traditional financial services firm, and no, it is not for sale. But it is most definitely designed to plant a flag – or innovation flag to be more precise. So please check out disclosures at the end of the episode and get ready to hear our discussion about non fungible tokens. This one, you don’t want to miss.
